A light, crunchy, and savory snack perfect for parties, movie nights, or as a crispy salad topping. Quick to prepare and irresistibly satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 1 box (7oz) MEKOMAN Uncooked Prawn Crackers

  • Cooking oil (vegetable, canola, or peanut oil) for frying

  • Optional: chili powder, sea salt, or your favorite seasoning


Instructions

  1. Pour cooking oil into a deep pan or wok, filling it about 2–3 inches deep. Heat over medium-high until hot (around 350°F / 175°C).

  2. Take a few uncooked prawn crackers at a time and carefully drop them into the hot oil.

  3. Watch as the crackers puff up in just a few seconds. They expand quickly and become crisp.

  4. Using a slotted spoon, remove the puffed crackers and drain on a paper towel.

  5. Repeat with the remaining crackers. Season lightly with chili powder, sea salt, or preferred seasoning while still warm.

  6. Serve immediately as a snack, appetizer, or crispy topping for salads or Asian-inspired dishes.


Serving Tip

  • Pair with sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, or spicy mayo for dipping.

  • Use as a crunchy topping for noodle or rice bowls for added texture.


Storage Tip
